Other Hotlines & Warmlines
TO KNOW BEFORE USING OTHER HOTLINES & WARMLINES:
To our knowledge, most of these hotline, chat, text, and warmline services employ nonconsensual emergency responder/police intervention. This means potentially using your geolocation with 911, first responders, and potential law enforcement, under certain circumstances, without your informed consent. These policies are often not made easily available to callers.
Mandated reporting can also trigger services such as CPS and APS. When using these services, ask what may happen if you share information about potential or actual harm to yourself or someone else before sharing details.
