The Legal Information Helpdesk provides basic information about laws and policies in the U.S. that affect trans people across many areas, including employment, health care, housing, civil rights, immigration, prisoners’ rights, and identity document changes.
NCTE created the Trans Legal Services Network to ensure that every trans person has access to assistance navigating the complicated name and gender change process and any other legal issues they may face.
