Agender

A person who does not identify themselves as having a particular gender may feel as though they fall outside of the gender spectrum. Some agender people may define their gender as neither male nor female, while others may consider themselves genderless (i.e., they do not possess a gender at all). Agender people may or may not transition socially, medically, and/or legally (Trans Primer, 2019).

Kai always felt deeply uncomfortable claiming any sort of gender identity and gradually began to realize that they were agender.
